ลักษณะเฉพาะของหลักสูตร:
หลักสูตรมุ่งเน้นการเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ชีวการแพทย์แบบบูรณาการ ครอบคลุมองค์ความรู้สำคัญทั้งด้านชีววิทยาระดับโมเลกุล กายวิภาคศาสตร์ ชีวเคมี จุลชีววิทยา พยาธิวิทยา เภสัชวิทยา สรีรวิทยา เวชศาสตร์ฟื้นฟูและชะลอวัย ภูมิคุ้มกันวิทยา ตลอดจนงานวิจัยและเทคโนโลยีทางการแพทย์สมัยใหม่ โดยส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ผ่าน active learning, research-based learning และ interdisciplinary learning ภายใต้การสนับสนุนจากอาจารย์และห้องปฏิบัติการจาก 6 ภาควิชาของคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล หลักสูตรจัดการเรียนการสอนในรูปแบบนานาชาติ โดยใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในทุกคาบเรียน กิจกรรมหลักสูตร และการสื่อสารสำคัญ พร้อมเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ร่วมกับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมวิจัย และนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะวิชาการ การวิจัย และการสื่อสารในระดับสากล นอกจากนี้ หลักสูตรยังส่งเสริมเส้นทางด้านงานวิจัยและการศึกษาต่อระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา ผ่าน research track และความร่วมมือกับห้องปฏิบัติการวิจัยทั้งภายในและภายนอกมหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงความร่วมมือกับ University of Sussex ในรูปแบบหลักสูตรสองปริญญา (Double Degree Program) เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้นักศึกษาสามารถศึกษาต่อ ทำงานวิจัย หรือประกอบอาชีพในสายวิทยาศาสตร์ชีวการแพทย์และสุขภาพในระดับนานาชาติ หัวข้อวิจัยของหลักสูตรครอบคลุมหลากหลายสาขา เช่น Molecular Biomedical Research, Diseases and Their Controls, Regenerative Science and Anti-aging, Cancer Biology and Precision Medicine, Stem Cell and Translational Research และ Immunology and Infectious Diseases

Distinctive Features of the Programme:
The programme focuses on integrated biomedical science education, combining fundamental scientific knowledge with laboratory practice, research experience, and modern medical technologies. Students develop competencies in biomedical sciences, including molecular biology, immunology, pathology, regenerative science, and anti-aging research. The curriculum emphasises active learning, research-based learning, and interdisciplinary learning to strengthen students' analytical thinking, laboratory skills, scientific communication, and research capabilities. Students are supported by academic staff and research laboratories from six departments within the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University. In addition to academic knowledge, the programme promotes communication skills and international learning experiences. All classes, programme activities, and major communications are conducted in English, allowing students to study in a multicultural environment alongside international students. Students are also encouraged to participate in research activities, scientific presentations, and academic conferences throughout the programme. The programme further supports research-oriented career pathways and postgraduate studies through research track opportunities and collaborations with research laboratories both within and outside the University. Under Plan B, students may continue their studies at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom through the Double Degree Programme. This pathway provides broader international exposure and prepares graduates for careers and further studies in biomedical science and health sciences at the global level. หลักสูตรให้ความสำคัญกับการสนับสนุนโอกาสทางการศึกษาและการพัฒนาศักยภาพของนักศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง แม้ว่าหลักสูตรจะไม่มีทุนการศึกษาแบบเต็มจำนวน (Full Scholarship) สำหรับนักศึกษาโดยตรง แต่มีทุนและโอกาสสนับสนุนในหลากหลายรูปแบบ เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ ประสบการณ์วิจัย และการเตรียมความพร้อมสู่เส้นทางวิชาชีพและการศึกษาต่อในอนาคต เช่น

• ผู้ช่วยวิจัย (Research Assistantship)
• ทุนส่งเสริมโอกาสทางการศึกษา
• ทุนสนับสนุนการศึกษาต่อระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา
• ทุนสนับสนุนการฝึกงานและกิจกรรมวิชาการทั้งในและต่างประเทศ

นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษายังมีโอกาสเข้าร่วมงานวิจัย การฝึกงาน และกิจกรรมพัฒนาศักยภาพร่วมกับคณะและเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ รวมถึงสามารถเข้าถึงทุนสนับสนุนจากคณะ มหาวิทยาลัย และหน่วยงานภายนอกตามโอกาสและคุณสมบัติที่กำหนดในแต่ละปีการศึกษา หลักสูตรมุ่งหวังให้นักศึกษาได้รับทั้งความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และโอกาสในการพัฒนาศักยภาพอย่างรอบด้าน เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่การเป็นบุคลากรด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ชีวการแพทย์ในระดับสากล

Scholarships and Student Support:
The programme values educational opportunities and continuous student development. Although full scholarships are not directly provided by the programme, various forms of financial and academic support are available to enhance learning experiences, research opportunities, and future career development, including:

• Graduate Study Support Scholarships
• Internship and Academic Activity Support (local and international)

Students are also encouraged to participate in research projects, internships, and professional development activities in collaboration with the Faculty and partner institutions both nationally and internationally. Additional scholarships from the Faculty, Mahidol University, and external organisations may also be available depending on eligibility and annual opportunities. The programme aims to support students in developing knowledge, research experience, and professional competencies to become globally competent biomedical science graduates.

Graduates of the programme can pursue careers in a wide range of fields related to biomedical science, health sciences, research, and the biotechnology industry, including:

• Personnel in biotechnology, biomedical, and healthcare industries
• Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
• Medical Affairs / Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Graduates may also work in hospitals, research centres, medical institutes, biomedical industries, and both public and private health science organisations in Thailand and internationally. In addition, many graduates continue their studies in both professional degree programmes and postgraduate programmes, in Thailand and overseas, such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Pathobiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Physiology, Molecular Biology, Public Health, and other related fields.

Applicants can apply through the Mahidol University admission system according to the University's annual admission schedule. The programme welcomes both Thai and international applicants. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in science, particularly in biology, chemistry, and English, as well as an interest in biomedical science, research, and health innovation.
