Doctor of Dental Surgery Program (International Program)
โรงเรียนทันตแพทยศาสตร์นานาชาติ (MIDS) เป็นโรงเรียนแห่งแรกของประเทศไทยที่มีจัดการเรียนการสอนทางทันตกรรมโดยใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นหลักแก่นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี โดยหลักสูตรทันตแพทยศาสตรบัณฑิต (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) จะใช้เวลาศึกษา 6 ปี แบ่งเป็นสองช่วงได้แก่ pre-clinic และ clinic โดยผู้เรียนจะได้ศึกษาสาขาเฉพาะทางทางทันตกรรมที่น่าสนใจต่าง ๆ ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากหลักสูตรของเราสามารถประกอบอาชีพได้มากมาย เช่นอาจารย์และนักวิจัยทางด้านทันตแพทยศาสตร์ ประกอบอาชีพทันตแพทย์ในคลินิกส่วนตัว หรือโรงพยาบาลเอกชนหรือเป็นทันตแพทย์ในโรงพยาบาลของรัฐ เป็นต้น
สิ่งที่ทำให้หลักสูตรทันตแพทยศาสตรบัณฑิต (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) โดดเด่นไม่แพ้ที่ไหน ได้แก่การเรียนการสอนด้านคลินิกจะมุ่งเน้นให้นักศึกษามีความสามารถในการวางแผนการรักษาผู้ป่วยแบบ Comprehensive Learning หรือการวางแผนการรักษาคนไข้หนึ่งคนจนครบทุกขบวนการรักษา รวมทั้งการเรียนการสอนของเราจะเน้น interactive learning และ team work เนื่องจากขนาดห้องเรียนที่เล็กและเข้าถึงผู้เรียนอย่างทั่วถึง เรายังมีอาจารย์พิเศษชาวต่างชาติ มาสอนในรายวิชาต่าง ๆ ทุกภาคการศึกษา รวมทั้งความรู้ด้านทฤษฎีการประกอบการ ประสบการณ์ระดับนานาชาติและวิชาชีพที่สนับสนุนการประกอบอาชีพในอนาคต
หลักสูตรทันตแพทยศาสตรบัณฑิต (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ยังได้รับการรับรองคุณภาพ จากทันตแพทยสภา และผ่านการประกันคุณภาพมหาวิทยาลัยอาเซียน (AUN-QA) ในปี พ.ศ. 2567 ซึ่งเป็นหลักสูตรนานาชาติแห่งแรกของประเทศไทยที่ได้ผ่านการรับรอง เป็นการสร้างความมั่นใจอีกประการหนึ่งให้แก่ผู้เรียนว่าจะได้รับความรู้และประสบการณ์ที่ได้มาตรฐานในระดับสากล
Doctor of Dental Surgery Program (International Program)
As the first program in Thailand to provide undergraduate dental education primarily in English, the Mahidol International Dental School (MIDS) offers a six-year of Doctor of Dental Surgery (International Program). The curriculum is divided into pre-clinical and clinical training, covering a wide spectrum of dental specialties. Graduates are equipped for various professional tracks, including clinical practice in public and private sectors, dental research, and institutional academia.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (International Program) is distinguished by a clinical curriculum focused on comprehensive patient care. Students develop the critical skills required to design and manage complete treatment plans across all stages. Our educational approach emphasizes interactive learning and collaborative teamwork, supported by small class sizes that ensure personalized faculty mentorship. Furthermore, visiting international professors contribute to the curriculum each semester, providing students with a robust foundation of theoretical knowledge, practical training, and global exposure to support their professional advancement.
Accredited by the Dental Council of Thailand and certified by the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) in 2024, which is the first international dental program in Thailand that achieved the recognition. This benchmark ensures that the education and clinical experience provided strictly align with international standards.
